On the north shore of the Miramichi River in Blackville, New Brunswick, sits Black Rapids Retreat. Praised for its peaceful, quiet setting, and excellent fishing, guests at the Retreat will find a variety of activities available year-round.

Two rustic, recently renovated cabins offer space to sleep 12 guests (six per cabin) in comfort, only steps from the river itself. The wood plank construction and wraparound porch on both of the side-by-side cabins gives classic cottage vibes, but the modern kitchen, comfortable furniture, and indoor plumbing means you’ll want for nothing while you’re here.

While outdoor adventure abounds along the Miramichi River, Black Rapids Retreat offers some indoor fun as well.

Both cabins, the Atlantic and the Pacific, boast a relaxing lower level with a lounging area and TV. The lower level of the Pacific cabin is also equipped with a full bar, pool table, and poker table, to help you unwind during your stay.
